A day At the ZOO!
Sarah and I took Sadie to the Dallas ZOO today! She had so much fun, but enjoyed the stairs and leaves more than anything. Below are just a few of the fun pictures that I took!

Life as I know it (and some rantings in between).
Okay, okay- I have been very bad at updating, well nothing new about that- I am typically bad at updating these sorts of things. I suppose I could come up with a thousand excuses (hey I think there is a fallacy I could use that I learned in english, but that involves extra brain power that I cannot at this time summon). The last few months have flown by. So, I suppose I have alot of updating to do!
In August I finally got a new car, it sure was a beauty (well compared to the good ole' Buick). Of course good things come to those who wait, and in my case bad things come to those who dont. One month to the day my poor car was no longer in existance. Yes, shocking, me Amy getting into a car accident? That never happens. See, sitting at home sick in bed with Strepp throat and tonsilitis the day before my birthday was just not exciting enough for me. Instead I was determined to take my lazy butt out of bed and go to walmart and Sams for the food for the next days festivities (sick or not I was going). Like I said- bad things come to those who dont wait, and as many of you know, my level of patience is very thin. As I was driving home in the pouring rain (yes, sheets and sheets), I see the person in front of me break, I break- hydroplane. And yes, long story short, the car=history. I learned so many things in one week, that life isnt fair, patience is most certaintly a virtue, and the most important things, 1) Thank God for understanding friends and family, 2) Full Coverage Insurance 3) Dad being a Car Sales Manager 4) did I mention friends and family? After 2 weeks of being carless (well I use that term loosly because I was fortunate enough to get a rental car), I FINALLY got my new car (yes 2 new car in 2 months). My 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer is a beauty. Of course the salesman that work for my dad all got a laugh, they joked that If I didnt want a white car the first time around I should have just told them (truth be it, I really was happy for the new black one) =). All that said and done, I really did have an amazing birthday after-all. All of my good friends and family joined me for dinner at Morgan and Jacobs house and then a majority of us went out to Cowboys Red River for some Bull riding, country dancing, and of course good ole' drinking. What better way to celebrate? I really spread the birthday out too, a few weeks before my birthday Alyssa and I had a girls weekend and stayed at the Sheraton by the Galleria. It was so much fun getting dressed up and going out shopping, to dinner, and getting our nails done (not to forget the enjoyable fun at 777 that followed). I was also excited to have my bestie Krystin in town. We really had fun at 777 the night after my birthday. Of course, both of us had a few too many (mixed with Karaoke was probably not so smart), but we really had a blast and were glad to get to spend some good quality time together. Since then I have been was seems like super busy. Jacob came home for a week (which was really nice, but too short). Since then my weeks have been busy watching Miss Sadie. She is getting so big, and is so smart! She really cracks me up, and I couldnt imagine not seeing her everyday. I love her curiosity (and even her stubbourness). Her new favorites consist of dress up shoes, her sparkly purse, and shoes in general. She is starting to become a super girly girl, and I LOVE IT! We have so much fun chasing each other and dancing! A few weeks ago Sarah and I took Sadie to the fair. We really had fun walking around and trying all of the fattening fried foods (Although the fried beer was unanimously nasty). Sadie had fun too, and did suprisingly well for no afternoon nap. She even got to pick up a ducky from the water, and once she realized it one her a prize, she was very enthusiastic about the games. Thursday Mike and I took Sadie to the Childrens Aquarium at Fair Park, it was a fun little outing- and Sadie really got a chance to burn off some energy. It was so cute watching her point all the fishies out, and I even got to feed some sting-rays. I am sure you are wondering, Mike, aquarium, whats up with this. Well Sarah and Mike both are in the process of starting new jobs, so I am sure there will be some changes for the better coming soon! Until then, Sadie has enjoyed having her daddy home to keep her company (and believe me when I say he is wrapped around her fingers). These last few weekends have been very busy. A few weekends ago Morgan and I braved the Pearce annual craft show and came out with a few cute finds! This last weekend I was able to spend some fun time with my friend Alden, and we got to catch up over dinner and a movie (Saw). Saturday was a busy day, as Morgan and Daniel and I had lunch and went shopping (much to Daniels dismay). And Saturday night I had a blast celebrating Blakes birthday with the group. We enjoyed dinner at Cheddars and then drove out to Caddo Mills for a haunted house. Sunday was hectic, hectic hectic. Well I say that, but it probably would have not been so bad if I had gotten up before 2 in the afternoon. That aside the rest of the day was spent on homework (which is still incomplete). As you can imagine, that is why at 3am I am still up (and yes spending my precious time blogging). I am sure I am leaving one of my fun adventures out, but I am now deciding that sleep would be best. There will be pictures to follow soon (why of course I forgot to mention my birthday present to myself- a new digital camera and Photoshop), look forward to some fun pictures of all the excitement soon! Ahh, wait- forgot the most important update of them all. I finally hit my 100 pounds lost marker. I am so excited, and that excitement has undoubtedly turned into an obsession for buying cute clothes and shoes. Of course the excuse is I have no clothes and shoes, but I believe I can make do for now =) Cant wait to see what the future brings for my weight loss, Until then....~Amy~

Yes, I am FINALLY posting something new!
This is once of my sketches...I am really loving getting back into art! If I would just finish what I start....maybe I would have a completed piece!
Okay, certain people (or a certain person), has brought to my attention that I have not updated in awhile, so here it goes. Nothing super exciting my way, just ALOT of babysitting, watching Sadie, and more Biology than my brain wants to hold. Also I have started doing Pampered Chef...Love love love the products! I just had a fill yesterday and have lost all togther right at almost 70 pounds! Really hoping for the continued weight loss, and maybe by this time next year I will be down to my ideal weight (which is 175-less would also be allowed, LOL). This weekend will (and already has), been busy! I watched Sadie today, then watched Augie and Josh, and then worked on a little bit of Bio. Tomorrow I have more bio, lunch with the best friend and kiddos, and then watching Caydee, Cameron, Blane, and Payten. Sunday is going to be my day too relax (and possibly meet a guy I have been talking too). Wish I had more to talk about...but like I said nothing super exciting! Next weekend I will be in Oklahoma, and the weekend after that I will be leaving for Arkansas for family vacation (I suppose those two trips could be considered exciting!). Mothers Day weekend Krystin and I went Ice skating =) And I locked my keys in my car (is anyone shocked>?) And here is a cute picture of Ali at the stars game!
